Would you like to play?

Hello! We are a design studio specialising in play
through art and innovation. We know that in a world of

standardised and predictable experiences, play creates
settings for freedom, connection, and memory.

We play… And we know how to make play happen.
Hello! We are a design studio specialising in play through art and innovation. We know that in a world of standardised and predictable experiences, play creates settings for freedom, connection, and memory.
We play… And we know how to make play happen.
  We work methodically and across
  disciplines to awaken curiosity.
  Our challenge: going beyond novelty
  as appearance.

We think by making, bringing together
  conceptual imagination, craft, and
  material precision. Because ideas become
meaningful when they can be made.
Just a little bit more
We create bespoke designs that resonate
as they activate places, contexts, and the
  stories around them.
Play creates memories
through the body.
Great!

Bold ideas need more than imagination.
We bring direct involvement and realisation
  expertise, shaped by leading collaborations.
Well done!
Could you multiply?
From early planning to object detail, we
think strategically to turn objectives and
  constraints into play possibilities.
Okay!
This is too much!

STUDIO

At Leticia Paschetta Studio, we approach play as a spatial, cultural, and social experience. Not a product category. Not a childhood phase. A field with its own depth, complexity, and creative potential.

Our practice moves across scales and contexts, from play spaces and sculptural equipment to artistic installations, bespoke works, and strategic projects. We approach each commission as a specific situation, shaped by place, people, constraints and possibilities.

We create with curiosity and precision, learning quickly from each condition and requirement, and developing projects from concept and strategy to implementation. For us, imagination and realisation are not separate stages: the way something is made is part of what gives it meaning.

We are architects, designers, structural design teachers and researchers, with a practice shaped by many fields. This unusually diverse background allows us to bring together intuition and rigour, freedom and control, open-ended play, and technical clarity.

We are Richter Spielgeräte Design Partners. This long-term alliance brings our work to catalogue equipment and landmark bespoke projects within one of the world’s most demanding cultures of quality, craft, and play.

We love play! It is the centre of our work: a way to create freedom, intensity, connection, and memory through space.

JOSÉ CAVALLERO

José Cavallero is driven by a deep curiosity for how things work, take shape and hold together. His approach brings spatial imagination into contact with structure, geometry, construction, and detail. He works through systems and material decisions, turning complex ideas into clear, buildable situations without losing their capacity to surprise.

LETICIA PASCHETTA

Leticia Paschetta explores play as a way to create freedom through space. Her work moves between art, design, and material experimentation, shaping immersive atmospheres that invite curiosity, movement and interaction. She is interested in how bodies meet their surroundings, and how forms, textures and situations can open unexpected ways of being, discovering and playing.

ROJO (RED PLAY LANDSCAPE)

How could we explain the colour red to someone who cannot see?
What does red taste, sound, or smell like?

Viejo Mercado Cultural Centre needed to transform an anonymous, all-white, 70-metre-long space and create an active link between the centre and its community.

We chose red as the single resource: a way to reduce contrast between colours and activate perception beyond the visual. The project began with challenging questions. How could we explain the colour red to someone who cannot see? What does red taste, sound, or smell like?

We created a sequence of seven play spaces where red became a field of action: video and image, movement, tactile exploration, reading, theatre, costumes, art, and early childhood play. An immersive environment invited visitors to move, hide, slide, imagine, perform, and create.

The result was a complete play experience in red. Children and adults played and participated together, extending the time spent at the centre and turning each visit into a more active, open-ended cultural experience. For the centre, it created a distinctive proposal: accessible, visually powerful, and memorable without relying only on image.
